Google Launches Geo-Aware Web Service

February 5th, 2009

Google has launched Latitude, a new Web service that tracks your location on Google Maps and shares it with your friends and family. Coke Releases Valentine’s Day Themed iPhone App

February 5th, 2009

File under: Everyone else is doing it. Coca-Cola has joined the legions of brands racing onto the iPhone with a well timed spin the bottle game.

“Aaaah, young love. Stolen glances in the cafeteria. Passing notes in social studies to see if she likes you the way you like her. And then, the real test: spin-the-bottle.

The Spin the Coke application is for those who recall those heady days of first crushes. A fun way to break the ice, or to give that someone special a not so subtle hint, just spin your finger in a circular motion and let the Coke bottle do the rest. “
